On Sunday April 19th, A Child Grows in Brooklyn held their fourth annual Brooklyn Baby & Family Expo. I had the privilege of attending and checking out the well-rounded gathering of businesses showcasing their products and services.
Hands down, my most favorite discovery from the expo is the brand Loyal Hana. This collection of stylish and practical clothing can carry women through pregnancy, nursing and beyond. Zippers are hidden along the sides of each piece, perfect for nursing moms but also discreet enough for wearing long after. I had a chance to see some pieces up-close and I can attest to how beautifully crafted these clothes truly are.
I have been a fan of the Keekaroo Peanut Changing Pad for a long time. At the expo I had a chance to learn about their Cafe Booster. Not only a great space saver, this booster is made out of a super soft, crack resistant and easy to wash material. What's more, it is designed to promote good posture and is made right here in New York. I especially love the Cafe Booster in this gray color, only available at Giggle.
Another one of my favorite brands is Ubbi. Their diaper pails are the real deal, beautifully designed, come in an array of colors to choose from and are made with stainless steel to lock in odors. Best of all, they do not require specific plastic liners which saves a ton of money and hassle overtime. At the expo I learned that Ubbi also offers eco-friendly reusable and washable cloth liners, perfect for those parents using cloth diapers.
